The shirt and pants fabric is woven in bold vertical stripes — marigold yellow banded with deep rose-pink, scattered all over with gold butis. The dupatta is the standout: a rich marigold ground worked with delicate gold dotted stripes, framed by an ornate gold-zari floral Banarasi border and finished with knotted tassels. Mushroo is a centuries-old fabric with a lustrous silk face and a soft cotton back, so it drapes with sheen yet sits comfortably next to the skin.
