The shirt and pants fabric is woven in fine vertical stripes — rich black alternating with pale silver-grey, scattered all over with tiny silver butis for a soft sparkle. The dupatta is the standout: a deep black ground worked with delicate silver dotted stripes, framed by an ornate silver-zari floral Banarasi border and finished with knotted tassels. Mushroo is a centuries-old fabric with a lustrous silk face and a soft cotton back, so it drapes with sheen yet sits comfortably next to the skin.
