Red Pure Katan Silk Kaduwa Banarasi Saree with Multi Meena Vine
Pure Katan Silk · Kaduwa Weave · Multi Meena Floral Vine Pallu · Vintage Inspired · Blouse Included
A vintage-inspired Banarasi saree in deep red pure Katan silk. The body is woven in the Kaduwa technique with a fine gold diamond-lattice ground and a kalash-and-leaf border pattern, opening into a dense pallu where multicoloured floral vines — worked in Multi Meena thread in pink, purple, yellow, green and blue — climb in vertical rows against the red silk. A slim orange border edges the drape. Rich, classic and unmistakably handloom. Blouse included.

Multi Meena refers to meenakari-style thread work carried out in several colours within a single motif rather than one or two — here used to fill each floral vine on the pallu with a full, layered palette. Combined with the Kaduwa technique, where every motif is woven individually and locked against the warp so nothing floats loose on the reverse, this saree reflects a vintage Banarasi sensibility: dense, colourful pallu work set against a quieter, geometric body.
