Peacock Teal Dual-Colour Kaduwa Banarasi Saree with Horse Motifs
Kaduwa Weave · Dual-Colour Peacock Green to Teal · Sona Rupa Zari Horse Motifs · Blouse Included
A stunning dual-colour Banarasi saree that shifts from peacock green to deep teal across its length, woven in the exacting Kaduwa technique. Galloping horses are scattered across the body in Sona Rupa (gold and silver) zari, with a dense gold floral pallu bordered by a lime green edge and anchored by a large horse medallion at the corner. Rich, bold and unmistakably handloom. Blouse included.

Sona Rupa zari — gold and silver worked together within a single motif — gives these galloping horses a layered, dimensional shimmer that single-tone zari can't match. Each horse is woven individually using the Kaduwa technique, locked against the warp so nothing floats loose on the reverse, while the dual-colour body is achieved by carefully varying the weft as the saree is woven — a technique that takes real skill to execute without a visible seam.
