Sage Green Handspun Khadi Unstitched Suit Set with Pichwai Weave Dupatta
Handspun & Handloom Khadi · Woven Pichwai Pastoral Scene · 3-Piece Unstitched
A 3-piece unstitched suit set in handspun, handloom khadi — sage green, scattered all over with small navy floral butis, with a woven Pichwai-style scenic patch near the hem. The dupatta is the showpiece: a dense, tonal blue-grey jacquard weave depicting a Pichwai pastoral scene of cows, trees and gopis, with gold-woven caparisoned elephants scattered through the field, framed by a floral vine border. Pants fabric included in matching sage khadi.

Pichwai painting originates from Nathdwara in Rajasthan — devotional cloth paintings depicting Krishna's pastoral life, cows and the landscape of Braj. Translating that visual language into a woven jacquard on handspun khadi brings a slow, textural craft — hand-spinning and hand-weaving khadi is itself a labour-intensive, Gandhian tradition — together with a distinctly Indian artistic motif.
