A rich and royal pure Katan silk Banarasi saree in a deep royal blue, woven in the Ektara technique with multi-meenakari buti scattered across the body — each floral motif worked in vivid pink, yellow, green, orange and lavender against fine gold outlines. The pallu and border turn to an antique gold ground with large paisleys and florals in the same multicolour palette, finished with a scalloped temple-triangle edge and a fine maroon-pink piping. Ektara is a Banarasi weaving technique where the supplementary weft thread travels the full width of the fabric in a single shuttle pass, allowing dense, multicoloured motifs like this saree's meenakari buti to sit crisply across the silk without breaking the drape. Pairing it with an antique-gold pallu and a jewel-toned palette echoes the vintage Banarasi sarees woven decades ago for royal trousseaus — richly coloured, densely worked, and meant to be passed down.
