Rose Gold Silk Brocade Kimkhwab Kaduwa Meenakari Banarasi Saree
Silk Brocade Kimkhwab · Locked Kaduwa Weave · Meenakari Florals · Blouse Included
A richly woven yet surprisingly soft and lightweight Banarasi saree in rose-gold silk brocade Kimkhwab. The body is covered in an architectural jaal of arched panels and fine geometric patterns, individually worked in the locked Kaduwa technique. Meenakari floral accents in deep blue, orange and green punctuate the gold weave, while a vivid rani-pink edge and densely woven floral pallu bring drama to the drape. Opulent in appearance without feeling heavy. A matching blouse piece is included.

Kimkhwab — literally a dream woven in gold — is among the most sumptuous forms of Banarasi silk brocade. In this saree, the motifs are built in the Kaduwa method, where each element is woven separately and locked against the warp instead of being carried continuously across the reverse. Coloured Meenakari threads are introduced motif by motif, giving the florals their jewel-like blue, orange and green highlights while preserving the saree's clean structure and soft handle.
