A breathtaking black Ektara Katan silk Banarasi with the depth and polish of a true classic. Fine gold vertical stripes move across the body, while the pallu and lower drape bloom into a striking scallop-necklace design: repeated arcs of turquoise, pink, gold and soft lilac Meena meet in small pendant-like motifs against the dark silk. A densely woven antique-gold pallu and broad border anchor the colour, finished with elegant linear striping at the edge. Timeless, dramatic and beautifully composed. Blouse included.

The Kaduwa technique builds each motif individually into the weave, allowing the multicolour Meena necklaces to sit crisply against the black ground. The scallop-necklace border is the saree's signature — a traditional jewellery-like rhythm translated into woven floral chains, with each arc and pendant picked out in a different colour. Paired with the rich gold pallu, it creates a saree that feels both rooted in Banaras and entirely unforgettable.
