Sage Green Kora Silk Kaduwa Banarasi Saree with Sona Rupa Zari
Kora Silk · Kaduwa Weave · Sona Rupa Zari · Multicolour Floral Pallu · Blouse Included
A luminous sage green Kora silk Banarasi with the light, airy fall that makes Kora silk so beautiful to wear. The body is scattered with delicate gold and silver zari buti, while the pallu and lower drape open into a rich floral composition of pink, red, purple, coral and green blooms. The Sona Rupa zari gives the broad pallu and borders a softly dual-toned shimmer, and fine blush-pink edging brings the whole palette together. A graceful, quietly distinctive saree for festive days, daytime weddings and elegant celebrations. Blouse included.

Kora silk is woven unstarched, giving the saree its crisp, feather-light hand and gentle translucency. In the Kaduwa technique, motifs are worked individually with their own pirn rather than carried across the loom, leaving the flowers crisp and self-contained in the weave. Sona Rupa zari — the meeting of gold and silver zari — lends the sage ground and floral pallu a nuanced glow that shifts as the saree moves. The result is a Banarasi that feels both traditional and fresh: serene at the body, richly expressive at the pallu.
